Mr. Irwin O. Toppo is an accomplished mechanical engineer, academician, and researcher with a strong background in teaching, research, innovation, and industry. He completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with distinction and earned his Master of Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

He worked as a Design Engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for 3.5 years, where he was involved in the design of mechanical auxiliary systems for power plants. He has over 11 years of teaching experience, including his academic contributions in the Department of Energy Engineering at the Central University of Jharkhand and at G. B. Pant Engineering College, Delhi.

Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Applied Mechanics at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He also holds one patent in the area of internal combustion engines.
