The Department of Mechanical Engineering is committed to providing quality technical education, practical training, and industry-oriented learning. The department focuses on core mechanical engineering subjects, modern manufacturing practices, design, thermal sciences, fluid mechanics, and research-based learning.

AI & ML in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers an NEP-based curriculum that encourages interdisciplinary learning and skill-oriented education. The department motivates students to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in modern engineering applications such as smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, robotics, design optimization, thermal-fluid systems, and industrial automation.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has well-equipped laboratories that provide students with practical exposure, experimental learning, design experience, manufacturing skills, computational training, and hands-on technical competence across core and emerging areas of mechanical engineering.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing

Provides exposure to automated manufacturing, CNC concepts, computer-controlled production systems, and modern industrial automation.

Mechatronics Lab

Introduces students to sensors, actuators, control systems, automation, robotics, and interdisciplinary mechanical-electronic systems.

Workshop

Provides hands-on training in machining, welding, fitting, casting, fabrication, and basic manufacturing processes.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Provides hands-on exposure to refrigeration systems, air-conditioning equipment, cooling cycles, performance testing, heat transfer processes, and practical HVAC applications.
